Discipleship is responsible for the overall development, administration, and management of the educational and developmental ministries of the church. This division oversees, plans, develops and implements effective discipleship strategies that equips individuals for the work of the ministry. The Spiritual Formation Process begins in this division. The goal of the Spiritual Formation Process is to systemically develop and mature believers and equip them for service. This Division includes CONNECTIONS (Connecting Our Newcomers Now Entering Christian Transformation), Discipleship NOW, Small Groups, Leadership Development, Youth Ministries and Children’s Ministries.
Create purposeful Bible study opportunities for members at every age and every stage of life.
Through CONNECTIONS, initiate new converts and new members into the beginning stages of the spiritual growth process and integrate them into the life of the church.
Introduce members to the fundamentals of practicing spiritual disciplines.
Encourage members to participate in discipleship courses that are designed to help disciples discover what it means to be a disciple of Christ, and the commitment discipleship involves.
Oversee, educate, coordinate, minister to, and communicate to the children, youth, and adults of our church.
Develop and initiate a curriculum that is especially designed to minister to children and youth and that provides a foundation that bridges the gap into adulthood.
